He is Relentless

Relentless/Unrelenting: not yielding or swerving in determination or resolution

You won't relent
until You have it all
my heart is Yours....

Christ desires all of us. Every single last piece of us... completely and utterly devoted to Him and His glory. He wants the flaws, the fears, the struggles, the troubles, the imperfections, the blemishes. He wants all of them and no matter what, He will never ever reject us- ANY part of us.

This has definately been a struggle for me. I am constantly fighting feelings of inadequacy because I feel like I somehow MUST pay Christ back for dying on the cross for me. But no matter how hard I try, I will never ever be able to do that... and that can leave me feeling empty and sorry for myself [pretty pathetic, I know]

BUT

I'm forgetting that He choose to die for us AND that He didn't stay dead AND that all He asks of me now is to live a life for Him and His glory AND that i don't have to earn being seen as clean and perfect. His grace was freely given and we are invited into it; into the joy and hope and peace and love and freedom of the cross. How awesome!?!

When I'm feeling inadequate and struggling for footing somehow God always manages to bring me back to Romans 5:1-4:

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

and Romans 5: 20b- 6:2
"But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"

Your Turn:
What has God been teaching you lately?
