Today I wanna introduce you to Madi. She's our new Middle School staff writer for the Becoming Girls Blog. Her and Sam will be switching off posts and maybe even co-writing some posts together. ;) So without further adieu, here's Madi!
Hi Friends,
I am so excited to join this community of girls. I have attended the Becoming Girls Conferences since the beginning and am honored to be a part of this team.
I am here to tell you, God has changed my life.
Although I'm just in middle school and have plenty of hearty struggles and adventures to take, I never get taken for the type of person who is devoted and dwells upon the word of God being translated into music. And there's nothing better than being apart of a strong, loving worship team and watching my fellow peers grow into Christ.
I believe that us, youth, have the power to make change, and can have an impact with our voice. Like in 1 Timothy 4:12 where it says,
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."
Let that be us. I'm looking forward to sharing my adventure of walking with God with you all!
